Meet Your Instructors

Rachel Larkin

Rachel has loved teaching and practicing many types of movement & fitness for over 10 years. After a dance injury pulled her out of her dance studies & work in college, she found yoga as an artistic outlet, physical workout, and rehabilitative practice. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training as motivation to continue her personal practice after an ankle surgery and fell in love with the teaching side of yoga. Her passion lies in vinyasa-style yoga classes, focusing on flowing through movement and using breath to motivate the body and focus the mind. She also loves blending her dance background with her yoga practice in hopes to create a welcoming and approachable space for lovers of all movement. When she’s not on her mat, you can find Rachel listening to true crime podcasts, knitting, doing math problems for fun, or goofing around with her  one year old daughter.

Sarah Martin

Sarah is a registered yoga teacher who completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in June of 2021 through Muddy Waters Yoga Studio in Winona, MN. Since training, she has mainly taught slow flow, yin, restorative, and Nidra classes in Winona & Chatfield. She loves the meditative aspect of a physical yoga practice; the invitation to slow down, get quiet, and turn inward to fully listen and be present with oneself. Our surroundings are always telling us to keep moving, to check off the next task. Sarah’s classes provide a space away from the business of life; a space to practice being wholly present. When she isn’t teaching yoga, Sarah is busy chasing her (very busy) 2-year-old, Vincent. When she has a free moment, Sarah loves playing board games, working on a puzzle, or doing the weekend crossword puzzles. She is excited to bring her practice to Gray Duck & to become a part of the Gray Duck community.
